Design and shape your very own surfboard with renowned shaper Chris Ruddy. With over 30 years of experience, Chris has shaped over 50,000 surfboards and has trained dozens of professional shapers along the way.

Now it’s your turn! In this experience, you’ll learn the basics of surfboard shaping and will have the opportunity to create a custom design and hand-shape your own board under Chris’ guidance.

The Surfboard Shaping Experience includes:

• One 6-hour surfboard designing and shaping lesson (including lunch on Chris)

• Use of all tools and materials needed to make your surfboard (board blank, templates, planers etc.)

• One fully glassed and completed* surfboard with fins

*After shaping, boards typically take 1-2 weeks for glassing and finishing. Once the board is complete and ready, we’ll reach out to you and let you know!
